(More customer reviews)Whatever you do, do not buy this. The product description makes it sound like if it doesn't work it's you're own fault. Well guess what. It's not your fault. It's not your computers fault. It doesn't matter what you are trying to hook this up to it is not going to work. Put simply, component RGB is an analog signal, DVI is a digital signal. You cannot input an analog signal in one end of a cable and hope to get a digital signal from the other end unless you have an analog-to-digital converter box somewhere in the middle. The converter boxes sell for a minimum $100. If you want to find them search "converting analog video to digital" and you'll see.
Bottom line is this cable does not work, it was not designed to work. It was designed to make people think it would work. Do not buy!
