(More customer reviews)I'm fairly tech savvy, but I didn't realize the difference between DVI-I and DVI-D. The DVI-I connection has 4 prongs next to the "minus" sign on the connector (2 above and 2 below). I needed a DVI-D which doesn't have the 4 prongs.
I bought this connector not realizing the difference, but that's my own ignorance for the purchase, no fault of the item description. I just want other people to be aware before they make a purchase.
The quality of the unit looks to be solid and well made. I'm sure it would work well if I had a DVI-I connection in my monitor.
