(More customer reviews)This is exactly as it says. However, be forewarned, I bought this for my ATI HD4850. It seems the ATI cards support HDMI Audio over DVI if you use the special adapter that comes with the card. Unfortunately mine did not come with one so I hoped this would do the trick.. but it did not. The Video however was perfect so the item is very good at doing what it should.
