(More customer reviews)First off, this is not a high-end, ooga-booga, kill everything that moves gaming card. It's just a good, solid 3d-graphics card for a good price.
I bought it because I was having issues with the card that came with my off-the-shelf Dell that I bought at Wally-World. That's the thing about computers from Wal-mart. It can be a nice high-end name-brand machine but it's going to have the cheapest components they can get away with so they can sell the unit for cheap. If you're willing to replace the cheap components you can get a really nice machine for a little bit of money.
The issue I was having was "flicker" when I tried to watch full-screen video on the ATI card that came with the Dell. This card fixed that and the HD channels (I'm using a Hauppauge TV tuner card) look like you could reach into the screen and touch the people there.
I'm not a gamer anymore so I can't say anything about how it games though my computer did score a 5.3, up from 3.9, on the 3d graphics portion of the Vista system performance score.
Anyway, if you're looking for a solid card that's easy to install and you're not planning to play the latest and greatest 3D shoot-em ups this is the way to go.
Oh, one more thing. I orderd this shipped over-night (I'm an amazon prime member) and, despite some glitches along the way due to severe weather, it did indeed get here the next day. Kudos to UPS for that.
