(More customer reviews)The graphics card was very easy to install and renders beautiful graphics. I've purchased many PNY Nvidia based cards an have never had a problem until this one though. When I first boot up the computer the fan makes a loud vibrating sound for about a minute; it sounds like it's loose and about to fall apart. I found nothing to be loose or screws missing or anything, so I'll see if it holds up. The only thing bad about this for me is the fact that I install cards like this for other people and it's really a pain when one has issues like this.
This is a great inexpensive card that will allow you to hook your computer up to an HD television that doesn't have the monitor connections already.
PROS:
The card is plug and play and installs without much from the installer. Works great with Windows 7.
I don't play games, but online movies and videos are beautiful in full HD.
Graphics are much better than the on board graphics on the pc.
The card doesn't seem to hog resources from your computer, run hot, freeze or anything; video is smooth and flawless.
CONS:
Fan is very loud and sounds like it's going to fall off, but gets quiet after a minute or so.
The HDMI plug is recessed and it feels like I can't plug it in completely (this could be my pc design too) but it works good.
It took a bit of adjusting to get the resolution set where I could clearly see the text on the computer's desktop. I have an older LCD HD TV so that could be some of the problem.
You won't have sound through HDMI unless you set your computer to use the new 210 card sound instead of your default motherboard sound. Once you toggle that you get full digital sound.
