(More customer reviews)For whatever reason my motherboard does not like Axle3D cards. I tried 2 of these plus the Sapphire Radeon HD3850 in my aging PC. I'm not a beginner, I've been in IT since 1991 but I could not get this card to work no matter what I did. I have always used BFG video cards but my 6800GT bit the dust after I pushed it too hard overclocking. I was ready to just bite the bullet and build a 3-way SLi system but then I saw this card and was impressed by it's features even though I never heard of Axle3D before.....I ended up getting a refund for this card and purchasing the BFG 7600GS. Its core clock and GPU speed is not as fast as Axle3D advertised their 7950GT to be and its 512MB is 128-bit GDDR2 as opposed to the Axle3D 7950GT's 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 but, like all of my other BFG cards, it has worked flawlessly from the minute I installed it back in January and that is more important to me than numbers on paper.
