I have an intel core duo E8400 and 4 gigs of memory and I get 19200 on 3D mark vantage on performance setting. I play crysis maxed out at 1920 by 1080 at 30 fps. This is all the card you need at this time. The BFG comes with a lifetime warranty even if you buy it used as I did.
