(More customer reviews)I use this cable to transfer the audio from my macbook pro to my speakers. They work well; they transfer the audio. Overall the cable seems durable, it transfers good audio, 6ft seems to be enough length, and you can't beat the price! I'm using a mini displayport to HDMI adapter to transfer the video from my macbook pro to my tv. I was forced to get this cable because the displayport to HDMI adapter that I bought doesn't transfer audio (some do and some don't it also depends on the year of your macbook pro). One thing to note is that if you're using a displayport to HDMI you may not be able to transfer the audio through your TV. The HDMI cable is supposed to carry audio so your TV may not (probably wont) be able to recognize the audio coming through the dynex cable. However, if you're using a mini displayport to DVI adapter I THINK you should be able to get the audio through your TV. All of this means nothing if you're using a separate source for your audio like I am!
