(More customer reviews)Overall, this product seems to be what the company promises. However, I ran into a number of problems that someone just expecting it to work out of the box would have issues with. First, when I powered it on, it told me the firmware needed to be upgraded, so I went ahead an clicked the button to update it. It appeared that it was upgrading, but when it reached 100% the screen blanked out, and I could not get it back working again. Aparently, something happened during the upgrade and it messed up the firmware. Amazon was quick to send me a new one (that's why I deal with Amazon), and this time, the same thing happened, but after a few reboots, it came back up. Now with it up, I tried to run it on my computer as an extended screen instead of clone, it wouldn't work. After talking to customer service, they told me to download the firmware for a different model to get that feature. Now, even though it worked, it messed up my laptop, and I had to recover from an old restore point. Also, be warned, once the software is loaded up on your computer, and you are connected to this device, your sound is routed to the device as well, so don't expect to have sound out of your computer speakers. Overall, the device projects well, and the picture looks good, but the software that you have to load is buggy and might mess up your computer.
