(More customer reviews)I have an hp Touchsmart computer that does not have a video output of any kind. So having the USB video adapter was a nice plus.
In general, it works pretty nicely, but I'm a little disappointed with a few of it's features.
1) If you don't "Optimize For Video" then HD videos are a little jumpy on the external display. Though when you do "Optimize For Video" it smooths out the picture at the expense of text clearness. So you can either read text or watch video, but not both.
2) There seems to be a memory management problem in it's drivers as randomly the display driver causes a memory exception and freezes the whole machine and drops to a blue screen. This could hopefully be fixed with an update to the software.
Other than the cons above, wireless video on a machine that otherwise has no video output is pretty nice!
