(More customer reviews)I have a fairly new receiver with multiple HDMI inputs and wanted to run the Wii through one of them. This little baby works sweet. Just plug it in, hook up the component video cables and analog audio from the Wii, and run an HDMI cable from that to your receiver/TV and you're good to go. It DOES NOT get hot when plugged in and works good. I thought the audio on the Wii's main screen sounded "tinny" but worked perfectly on Super Mario Galaxy 2. No visual degredation, either.
Overall, very happy with this little guy considering it was the cheapest of the bunch on Amazon. No complaints whatsoever.
